Drama Club Information

2011-2012 School Year

I'm so excited about beginning another year of the MMS Drama Club!  It is a very enjoyable activity for our students who may not be athletically inclined, but we have had some very talented athletes who have been members of the drama club in the past.

This year, we will only open drama club to students in grades 6-8.  Last year when we tried to open it to all students, we had so many that we could not meet with them all at the same time.

Auditions for Drama Club

2011-2012 School Year

Wednesday, Aug. 24 from 3:00-5:00

Drama Club members will be the ones performing our plays this year, so we will be requiring auditions to be a club member.

Fall Play

Androcles and the Lion

performed for the 4th and 5th grades

in early December.

Spring Play

Macbeth (middle school version)

performed for grades 6-8

in late March.

We will meet every Wednesday afternoon from 3-5.  Please also keep in mind that closer to performance times we will increase rehearsal days.
