You can teach a student a lesson for a day; but if you can teach him to learn by creating curiosity, he will continue the learning process as long as he lives. ~ Clay P. Bedford TAG: The Gifted and Talented pull-out program is for students in first through fifth grades who have been tested and identified as a gifted learner. This class allows for them to leave the classroom one day per week to work with other students of like ability on a wide range of activities and projects both creative and academic. Acceleration Station: Acceleration Station is a pull-out academic enrichment program for high-ability first and second grade students. These students qualify for the program based on a set criteria. The students meet in small groups once a week to complete critical and creative thinking activities. Advanced Thinking Class: Advanced Thinking is a pull-out academic enrichment program for high-ability third, fourth, and fifth grade students. These students qualify for the program based on a set criteria. The students meet with the G/T facilitator once a week to work on problem solving, critical thinking, logical thinking, and reasoning skills in an effort to increase their test scores to commended. Curiosity is one of the most permanent and certain characteristics of a vigorous mind. ~ Samuel Johnson
