We recycle paper, cans, bottles, ink cartridges

& eye glasses!  We turn off lights!  We discourage idling!

We inform our community about ways to help the Earth!

Earth Patrol THINGS TO DO

• Comic Strip due to Ms. Dotson by April 1st
• Poem - Rethinking Recycling - due by March 6th
• PERSUASIVE WRITING - give to Mrs. Dotson but write your letter to Mrs. Jones. 

Your Letter should include:  5 Paragraphs

1st Paragraph - Why a field trip is a great learning experience - in 2-3 sentences

2nd Paragraph - ONE example of something you will learn at a landfill (a place where trash is collected) 2 - 3 sentences

3rd Paragraph - A DIFFERENT example of what you might learn about how recycling and trash are handled.  AND explain why this is important.  2- 3 sentences

4th Paragraph - ONE example of something you might learn at a recycling center and why this is important to YOU! 2-3 sentences.

5th Paragraph - REPEAT (in a new way) why a field trip like this is important to you as a Camp Creek Earth Patrol member.  AND REMEMBER TO SAY, "THANK YOU FOR CONSIDERING THIS, Mrs. Jones!"
