The Capital Zone of New York State Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation, and Dance is proud to sponsor the 25th annual Sandra G. Morley Physical Education Student Leadership Award. The ceremony takes place every year at Hudson Valley Community College. The ceremony will honor students across the area in elementary, middle and junior high school who have demonstrated excellence in fitness, leadership and citizenship to the best of their abilities. Each year the physical education staff at Goff recognizes three boys and three girls in 8th grade who meet the selection criteria.

Student Criteria:

1. Demonstrates responsible personal and social behavior, sportsmanship and citizenship.

2. Desires to learn and improve.

3. Exhibits a physically active lifestyle.

4. Demonstrates leadership and is a positive influence on peers

5. Contributes toward the total school program.
