Listed below are the topics that we will be covering in our math curriculum. A math workbook will be sent home and most math homework assignments will be from that workbook. You can also take a peek at the student resource guide. All of our math vocabulary is there and the children get tested on these at the end of each chapter. In order to differentiate instruction during math , students who work independently have the opportunity to do a challenge page, play math games or engage in computer extension activities after daily classroom work is completed. These extension activities will include logic and reasoning puzzles, deductions and brain teasers. Extra credit will also be sent home, but please have your child complete our regular classroom assignments first. Extra credit is optional.
