Homework: 

Due dates for assignments vary this week.

1.  Read for 15 minutes or more each night. 

2.  Practice all sight words that were introduced at school.  Make flashcards for each new word and review every evening.  Read the list or do the word search puzzles on our class website.  It is important for the children to practice these daily so that they can transfer them when reading text. 

3.  Thanksgiving poems will be sent home next Tuesday.  Don’t forget to read these over break.

4.  Math:  Complete attached Pumpkin Pictograph (Due Thursday)

5. Short E phonics page.  Please read all rhyming words out loud.  (Due Friday)

6.  Homework due for Family History Unit:

Wednesday:  Talk with your child about where your family immigrated from

Thursday:  Send in interview of grandparent.

Friday:  Send in quilt square that represents a tradition from your family.
