We are definitely having fun, but also learning to the last minute at school. I can’t stress enough; the importance of doing fun activities in reading, writing and math over the summer! Just a little bit every day goes a long way when the children become SUPER SECOND GRADERS! I am sad to see this year end, but your children have outgrown me. I will miss them and their parents too. Thank you to all for volunteering in the classroom, sending in donations and, most importantly, working with your child! Happy soon to be summer! Mrs. Treiber 6/19 "Camp Visiting Day" End of Year Party and 1/2 Day of School *Volunteers will be calling to ask for donations of finger foods and other items. 6/24 Game-A-Thon. If possible each child should bring in a quiet, age-appropriate game to play with a group of 2 to 4 children. Please label games with your child’s name and place all small pieces, cards, etc. in a Ziploc bag. NO electronics please! 6/25 Last Day of School: 1/2 Day
