This week we learned ph. Each team has a catch phrase; today's was "A photograph of Alphie". We identified that sound in words such as alphabet, dophin, photo. Our sight words (those that cannot be sounded out) are I, the, little, to, have, a, is, my, we, for, like, she, am, with, see, was, look, me, he, they, of, three, five, go, here. Green words can be sounded out and should be recognized; they are did, yes, am, with, like, see, or, one, two, four, from, red, yellow, blue. Please review these words at home. Religion We learned that saying the sign of the cross is a prayer. We reflected on what the cross means to us. Our bulletin board says, "The cross is a sign of Jesus' love." We also culminated our Lenten unit making butterflies. Our exterior bulletin board displays our butterflies and the quote from Mark 16, "Jesus rose from the dead and gave us new life."
