First of all, I have created a web link,http://www.donorschoose.org/ms.roth
for project donations. Please check this to see if this is something you would like to donate to.
Our class has need of many things throughout the year. Consumable items we seem to go through are:
* Boxes of Kleenex – (especially during the fall and winter seasons)
* Reams of white paper
* Miscellaneous items that would be good for collage (ex: age appropriate magazines, newspaper,left over wrapping paper, buttons, shells, etc)
In addition, there are ‘not so’ consumable items that we really could use. I have items that I have purchased for our class that are wearing out from use. Some of the students are not as gentle as others when using items from their group boxes. While I do ask students to replace items if they break them while using them in an inappropriate manner, I don’t feel that I should hold them accountable for breakage when something accidentally breaks.
* Elmer's Glue
* Crayola crayons, box of 24
* Crayola colored pencils, box of 10
* Elmer's glue sticks , or any brand but Rose Art
* Used / worn out tennis balls (to keep student desk movement quiet)
In addition, I have a classroom library for my students. If you have age appropriate books that you have already read and would like to donate to my classroom, I would truly appreciate it. I need a variety of genres and levels to accommodate all of my students. I always find that the best books are ones that your child has also enjoyed. My books are wearing out so I need to replace those that are falling apart.
