This is my 16th year teaching. I have taught second, third, fourth, and fifth grades.
I received my B.S. from Florida State University, and I am a huge Seminole Fan! In 2001, I received my MEd from National Louis University. My current areas of certification include Elementary Education, ESOL, and Gifted Education.
There are 14 members of my family who are teachers, including my dad who teaches at Sarasota High School.
My husband and I have been married for 11 years. He is from Canada and just became a U.S. citizen in February.
In 2005, we welcomed our daughter, Katie Ann. She is a real cutie - check out her pictures on the Slide Show page.
In my spare time, I like to read, travel, work on the computer, go to Disney, play with my niece & nephew, and shop with my mom.
