Living Environment Students - Many students are still not meeting the one week lab turn around time. Effective immediately, students who turn in late labs will receive a maximum score equivalent to 80% during the first week. Past that time, they will receive a grade of zero, but will still count toward the required minutes for taking the Regents exam.
While I TRY to keep my site updated, there are times when I am not able to post information daily. In terms of HW, please check your child's agenda if it is not posted here. Thank you to all who have been praying for my family. Your thoughts and prayers are greatly appreciated.
7th grade DNA projects are due March 24th. Make sure you see me if you are having trouble.
Reminder to students in my Living Environment Class - There is a one-week turn around for labs. Lab Reports are due one week after the completion of the lab. Many of you are not keeping up with the lab requirement for this course. You MUST meet the lab requirement to take the Regents exam.
There WILL NOT be HW club during the week starting 4/22.
HW club will run on Tuesdays from now until the end of March. I know some of you had hoped I would switch it to a different day, but like you, I have a number of outside obligations during the week. If you are unable to pick your child up by 4:00, please make arrangements for them to ride home with someone else and note this on the permission slip. Children who are not picked up will be sent to the Y program. I am not sure of the fee associated with this. If you plan to stay, please print the permission slip posted here on my site. For those students who cannot attend Tuesday HW club, I am available for help on Mondays and Thursdays from 3:00-3:30 by prior request only.

This feature allows my wonderful students and their families to monitor their progress in my class. Look for the FamilyLink icon in the navigation bar to the left.
FamilyLink information has been sent home with your child. Please store these in a safe place as they are needed to access both the FamilyLink section of the site and also the practice tests/quizzes that I post. On the cards you will also notice that I posted the passwords for our online text and also for quizlet.
Note to Parents/Guardians: If your child does not share this information with you, please send me an e-mail request and I will be happy to provide you with the information. Please contact me if you have any questions.
