Grading Scale
How are you graded in class?

Achievement Grades

Grade             What It Means                                                           Percent Needed

E                  Exceeds expectations                                       94-100%

G                  Meets expectations                                         77-94%

I                   Improvement needed                                        65-76%

U                  Unsatisfactory                                                 Below 65%

Achievement Grades are based on:

·  Homework- you will receive homework in about half of the classes.  Most homework assignments are worth 10 points

·  Class work- you will sometimes have in-class homework assignments to work on alone or with partners.  Most in-class assignments are worth 5 points.

·  Journals- you will have a religion journal that we will work on in-class.  Each journal entry is worth 4 points.

·  Tests- we have about 2 tests per marking period.

·  Quizzes- sometimes we have smaller quizzes in place of tests.

·  Projects- we complete one or two projects each year during class.  Most projects involve technology.
