Go Fish!
"Go Fish" in 5th grade religion! Just as Jesus called his disciples from a lake thousands of years ago, God is calling everyone to join in the Church. In fifth grade, students will learn to "Go Fish" by exploring many of the traditions and practices of the Catholic Church. The class focuses on the seven Sacraments, and students will get the chance to see the Sacraments with hands-on experiences and learn the importance of each one. We will also spend extra time studying the Mass, the Sacrament of Reconciliation, the liturgical year, and the rosary. Through it all, students will be challenged to answer Jesus calling them in their lives, and "Go Fish" by using their gifts and talents by serving God in the Church. Units in this class include: -
