Time:  1:00 – 4:00 p.m.  (Keynote Speaker at 1:00 – Don’t miss it!)

Place:  Intermediate School

Date:  Sunday November 1st

Our District is very proud to host its second STEM Fair on Sunday November 1st, focusing on Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM).  This event is an opportunity for students of all ages (K-12), parents, and all community members to explore and experience the STEM fields of study and to consider the possibilities that exist for exciting careers in the STEM fields.

At 1:00 p.m. in the VIS Auditorium, please join our Keynote Speaker, Richard Kaplan, Pictometry’s CEO and President, and Brian Jackson, Director of Technical Services, to learn how innovative technology has made Pictometry a leader in oblique aerial imaging.   Arrive on time so you won’t miss a minute of this exciting presentation!

Hands-on experiments and activities, display booths, and demonstrations by local businesses and individuals with experience and knowledge of a topic under the STEM umbrella will be the focus of the day’s events.  Presentations will include General Motors’ Fuel Cell vehicles; RIT’s Center for Imaging Science and Physics Departments, Microsoft’s global video conference simulation; Campus Construction’s creation of our very own Corbit Field; and many, many more.  Please bring the whole family and join us at the Intermediate School on Sunday November 1st from 1:00 to 4:00 for this exciting interactive event!

A detailed STEM Fair brochure will be available next week on the District's Website.  Visit  www.victorschools.org and look under Quick Links for the STEM Fair.
