What is Sociology? Sociology is the systematic study of social behavior and human groups. It focuses primarily on the influence of social relationships upon people's attitudes and behavior and how societies are established and changed. The perspective of sociology involves seeing through the outside appearances of people's actions and organizations. So what do we do in class? There are lot of discussions, group activities, projects and presentations. One of our most fun projects is building a city, utilizing the important components that are involved with such a large task. The cities are judged by representatives from the City of Plano, and the winners are honored at a reception held by the City of Plano, in the Spring.
