· No practice – the calendar says sign painting, but I’d rather the girls have time to make up work and attend school tutorials since the end of the quarter is THIS Friday.

· 4th period cheer – the girls will travel to All Star Gym in Carrolton for our first competition practice. The girls get dressed at the beginning of 4th period, as usual, and we meet in the Junior commons area by 2:30. We caravan to All Star and we will stay there until about 4:15. Girls may be picked up from the gym. Generally there are drivers that go back to the school, but Varsity is going home from All Star to get ready for the volleyball game. I apologize for the inconvenience, but this should be the only time this happens. The gym is located at 2502 Camp Avenue #102, Carrollton, Texas. Please let me know if there is a problem or if I need to help arrange a carpool for the non-drivers. Also, in the future, if you would like to set up a carpool, Mrs. Gaskey is interested in this option. If you would like to coordinate something, please email or call her. Thanks!
· Volleyball – JV will NOT cheer tomorrow as there is not enough travel time to get them back to JPII by 5pm and I don’t want anyone racing once practice is over.
· Volleyball – Varsity WILL cheer at the 6pm Varsity volleyball game. Please be in the small gym by 5:45.
· FYI – volleyball ends this week…

· Sign Painting and Spirit Rolls from 4-5pm
· Team dinner at 5:30 at Chipotle at Park and Preston. We will ride together and non-drivers may be picked up around 6:15.
Thursday, October 15, 2009
· 4th period cheer. We will practice cheers and review material learned at the gym on Tuesday.
· 5:00pm – the JV cheerleaders and I will travel to Bishop Lynch for the 6pm Sub-Varsity football game. The girls will ride the bus home and may be picked up from JPII. Food will be provided to the girls after school.

· Varsity football vs. Bishop Lynch. Hopefully we all know the drill by now J If you have questions, please let me know. The cheerleaders will be selling Spirit Books at the game for $5 and all sales will go directly into our Booster Club account, so if you need to buy one – Friday is the time!
