How may I be of assistance?

Suggestions for using the

North Mason Timberland Library as a resource

Whom do I contact?   Jenny Grenfell, Youth Services Librarian @  275-3232 or jgrenfell@trlib.org

How can the library help me?

There are two major ways to interact with the North Mason Timberland library to meet the needs of yourself and / or your students:

1)    Notify Jenny of upcoming themes or activities that might require extra resources.  This can often be done through your building teacher-librarian.

2)    Jenny is available to have (or make) class visits on a pre-arranged basis.  Mornings before 10:30 a.m. are best, but other times can be arranged.

What sorts of activities can be done during a class visit?

Jenny is open to collaboration ideas, but the “usual” activities would be related to literature or information skills.  Topics for a visit could include (but are certainly not limited to!) a tour of the library, an introduction to the age-appropriate databases available on the library website, or a special story time or book sharing on a topic of interest.
