I will:
1. Be a good online citizen by not doing anything that hurts other people or is against the law.
2. Not give out ANY personal information such as my full name, age, address, telephone number, or the name & location of my school without my parents' or teachers' permission.
3. Tell my parents or teacher right away if I see any information or pictures online that makes me feel uncomfortable.
4. Talk with my parents before I agree to get together with someone I "meet" online without first talking with my parents. If my parents agree, I will be sure to meet in a public place and bring my parent(s) along.
5. Check with my parents or teacher before I send a person my picture.
6. Tell my parents or teacher if I receive any messages that are mean or in any way make me feel uncomfortable.
7. Talk with my parents and/or teacher so that we can set rules for me to go online. We may decide the time of day, length of time, and appropriate online sites for me to visit. I will not visit other sites or break these rules without asking their permission.
8. Keep my Internet password private (not even telling my best friend) except my parents or teacher.
