Ahhh...you may already know that I am a reading addict! I love books and you can catch me reading...at least three...at the same time...at any given moment. :)
You will be responsible to read aloud Monday - Thursday with any book of your choice. Some of my favorite books are found by just browsing, aimlessly, in the library but in case you are interested in some direction: you've come to the right place!
You will find three separate booklists for your choosing pleasure. The International Reading Association's (IRA's) 2011 Children's Choices were picked by students in kindergarten through second grade as their favorites. The International Reading Association's (IRA's) 2011 Teacher's Choices were picked as good books to read by teachers across the country. The Curriculum Connection Choices suggests books that reinforce what we are discussing and learning in Reading, Math, and Social Studies. The Curriculum Connection Choices will change regularly as we progress through the curriculum.
If one catches your interest and you'd like to know more about it, go to our favorite links icon and click on one of the libraries. Once you are on the library's homepage, shift down to the Catalog and type in the book. You can get a brief summary of the book, decide if you want it, and request it...all at the same time! HAPPY READING!
