About Mrs. Wawro

Hi!  I was raised in the small, one traffic light town of Buena Vista, Ga.  I attended Ga. Southwestern College in Americus and graduated with degrees in Learning Disabilities and Behavior Disorders.  I continued my education at Ga. State University where I earned Masters Degrees in Learning Disabilities and Interrelated Special Education.

Fernbank Elementary in DeKalb County was my first teaching experience.  I taught Interrelated Resource and Self-Contained classes there for five years.  The traffic finally won, and I came to Camp Creek.  I have been teaching here for 18 years and have loved every minute of it!

My husband, Terry, and I have been married for almost 20 years.  He is a professional photographer with a background in electronics and computers.  Not only that, he cooks, does yard work, and is a terrific handyman.  I'm very lucky!  Together we love to travel and spoil our cat, Pyrat.
