February Classroom News/Information

 

  1. Monday, February 13th is President's Day. NO SCHOOL
  2. Monday, February 20th is Washington's B-Day. NO SCHOOL
  3. Tuesday, February 14th is our class Valentine's day party from 2-2:45pm. (Students do not need to make a Valentine holder)
  4. Our 1st classroom book report/project is due Wed. Feb. 29th.
  5. Tuesday, March 6th is the 4th grade STAR Writing Exam.
  6. Mission Pop-Up booklet due Friday, March 9th
  7. Mission Presentation and small projects due Friday, March 16th.
  8. Thursday, March 15th is the 4th grade field trip to the OC Performing Arts Center. (We are leaving Northwood at EXACTLY 8:15 AM. Students must be at school by 8:00am.)

 

All 4th graders are required to read a MINIMUM of 80 minutes per week (7 day period). This can be completed during the week and/or weekends.

Classroom Happenings:

Reading Counts: Students have a new lexile level beginning in February. Please check their folders. February begins our monthly book reports. Students may only use their lexile level books for book reports/projects. (Wednesday, February 29th)

Language: We are currently studying Unit 9 Adjectives. 

Reading:  We are currently in Theme 3: That's Amazing!

6.       See the table below for User Names and Passwords. Both are case sensitive.

4. Click on Kelley Kretsinger

5. Click on the word list for the week

Mathematics:  We are currently study Unit 4 Long Division.
