Religion                                             Mark 12. 38-44

    The children will recognize the importance of giving to others. We wall discuss what makes a gift important and are there things that you could give away to make someone else happy.

         

 

Reading

     -review the alphabet using the words before and after

     -review sight words with games and writing board stories

     -find sight words in the written word

     - Story- "Time to Sleep"

     -to hear and identify the sound of "Nn"

     -to practice the sequence of a story 

     -to write sentences to develop a story

     -to develop understanding there are words for numbers

     -to identify words that name things

     -to recognize action (verbs) words

     -to recognize and identify color words: word for the week black

              Fall-We will discuss the different signs of Fall and what people and animals do to get ready for the next season.

           Spiders- life of a spider and homes and webs they

make.  We will finish our booklets and read stories about bats.
