IMPORTANT DATES FOR SEPTEMBER

Wednesday, September 7, 2011 -   KII Orientation for parents/guardians at 10:00 A.M. in Finn Hall and Open House for children to visit classroom and meet their teacher will follow at 11:30 A.M.

Thursday, September 8, 2011  -  one half of the class will come for their first day of school.  We will meet the parents and children in Finn Hall at 8:00 A.M. The children will be dismissed from outside  their classrooms at 12:00 P.M.  Mrs. Hulme's class (K-24) will line up in front of the gym windows. Mrs. Puopolo's class (K-23) will line up in front of the grate in front of the KII classrooms. Ms. Smith's class (K-25) will come out the front door by the flagpole and line up in front of the windows by their classroom. Please do not allow your child to run to you as soon as he/she sees you.  We teach the children to say,"I see my Mom, Dad, etc." and we have to see you as well before we allow your child to leave the line.

Friday, September 9, 2011 -  The other half of the class will come to school for their first day. The children who came to school on Thursday will have a day off today.

Monday, September 12, 2011 -  All of the KII students will come to school.  The KII teachers will meet the students outside in the front schoolyard.  Signs will be on the classroom windows indicating where the children should line up as well. Dismissal for KII students will be at 12:00 P.M. every day this week. Extended day(for an extra fee) will be held  this week at the Early Childhood Learning Center for those students who need to stay in school until 2:20.
