Greetings Parents and Students!

Welcome to the 2008-09 school year at Coronado High School! My name is Mrs. Huffman and this will be my second year teaching in the Clark County School District. My husband and I moved to Las Vegas last year after living in California for the past seven years. I received my BA in English from San Jose State University in San Jose, CA and I completed my credential work there as well. This year I will be teaching English I Honors, English III R/W, and all Forensics courses. I encourage and invite you to communicate with me as often as you wish. Email is by far the best way to reach me and I am very quick with responses.

An important thing to note about English this year is that since there have been severe budget cuts in the district, our school is currently rationing paper. What this means for students is that they will be asked to print quite a few things on their own either at home, at a friend or family member's house, on in our school library.
