Class 43 Weekly Overview

·      Enthusiastic Valentine’s Day!

·      In Reading, we have been working on biographies.  For Black History Month students were separated into 4 groups and each group is studying a prominent figure in African American culture.  Students are reading actively and taking notes.  These notes will be crafted into a biography.

·      In Social Studies, we will shift our focus this week to President Lincoln and Washington.  Students will learn about each President and craft an argument addressing which President was better.  Their opinions will be supported from their reading.

·      In Math, we will have a test on Thursday.  Please see schedule below.

·      In Science, we will continue our discussions on plants and animals.  We will discuss the relationship between the bee and a flower (germination and pollination).

Have a wonderful week!!!
