ABOUT THE TEACHER-

I was born and raised in the Bronx, NY and attended the University at Buffalo.  Upon graduating I worked in the financial field and lived in Manhattan.  I left a position as a hedge fund trader with Morgan Stanley to pursue a lifelong dream of teaching.  I followed my wife to Long Island (she is a teacher in Center Moriches).  We have two beautiful sons- Sean & Luke.  We live in Brookhaven.

I have a dual Master's degree in Elementary and Special Education from Touro College. 

My hobbies are reading, jogging and playing Thundercats with Sean.

MISSION FOR THE CLASS:

To create a safe environment for meaningful and interesting learning activities for my students and to build a firm foundation for the skills needed to succeed in third grade. To develop good work-study skills that will empower students as self-directed, creative, lifelong learners and responsible citizens.
