Students will be able to solve simple subtraction number stories along with easier addition stories.

How many bats did they see in all?
3+4=7 bats
Katie had 8 gummy bears.
Lilly had 4 gummy bears.
How many more gummy bears does Katie have?
Students will construct fact families for addition and subtraction.
