Credit may be waived for physical education and swimming for students in the classes of

2002 through 2005. Beginning with the class of 2006, new graduation requirements include credit for one semester of health and for one semester of either physical education or swimming. With this new requirement, credit can be waived for either physical education or swimming,

not both.
