Mrs. Connors 6th grade Reading Class

Students have homework in my class every weeknight! They are required to read at least twenty minutes from their AR book at home each weekday.  Twenty-five percent of your child’s grade will come from the AR program. 

If you have access to Parent Connect, you may notice a .1 or a .2 after your child's grade.  .1 means the work was turned in late.  .2 means the work was incomplete.

You can find out hoPlease checw many AR points your child must have by looking in his or her reading folder. You can also sign up for “Parent Connect” to keep up with your child’s daily work achievement.

Please make sure your child is reading at least ten pages at home every night.

 I encourage you to read with your child whenever possible.
