Geometry R+
Periods 3 and 7 |

- In this course you will study logic, relationships of points, lines, angles, polygons and solids, properties of quadrilaterals, properties of triangles, ratio and proportion of similar figures, geometry of a circle, and transformations and constructions.
- Geometry R+ is the first year of a three-year math program that will eventually prepare you to take the Geometry and Algebra2/Trigonometry regents exams. Passing both of these exams will complete the math requirement for an advanced regents diploma. Not everyone will move on to the 2nd and 3rd years.
- Year 1 (this year): Start Geometry (no regents exam)
- Year 2: Complete Geometry (regents in Jan.) and start Algebra2/Trig
- Year 3: Complete Algebra2/Trig (regents exam)
