College Statistics

- This is a full year course offered through the S.C.A.L.E. program of Long Island University/C.W.Post Campus.
- You can earn three transferable college credits for this course. Credit will be earned for Math 19 Basic Statistics.
- This course will include many statistics and probability topics that have been studied in previous courses. Such topics include frequency distributions and their graphs, analysis of grouped data, standard deviation, basic probability, permutations, combinations, binomial probability, and correlation and regression.
- New material will include Geometric and Poisson distributions, normal probability distributions, confidence intervals and hypothesis testing.
