Classroom News Fall 2011 |
We are having a great time in K1 getting to know each other and making new friends. The students have spent these beginning days exploring their classrooms and learning their daily routine. We began our letter recognition with letters "A" and "B". Have studied graphing with our Apple Tasting activity. Our Language Art activities have included an Apple Tree, Blueberry Baskets and Bumble Bees. Clear off your refrigerators to display all the magnificent works of art that will be coming your way!! We have had Music classes with Ms. Chiappini and Library with Mrs. Kercz. On Thursdays we go to Gym class at the main building and Mrs. Houston is very excited to have another wonderful K1 class. Autumn is on its way and the children will be coming home with a worksheet to share with their classmates on their favorite Fall things.

EVERY TUESDAY IS PROJECT PANTRY DAY!
You may send in a non-perishable item to be donated to the local food pantry. We would really like to reach out to those families in need. If you are able, we would love to have the children participate in this worthwhile cause.
