Parent Information Dear Parents, I am delighted to have the opportunity to work with you and your child. I hope to inform you of events, and activities involving your child by sending home a weekly newsletter and posting information on my classroom website. Communication – Lines of communication are very important. If I have any concerns about your child, I will contact you. Please let me know of any questions or concerns you may have as well. The daily folder is an effective tool for communication. Please check your child’s folder, see that homework is completed, and that important papers are signed. Sign the calendar and return the folder each day. The SOL Tests will be given to third graders for the first time this spring. Children will be tested on all SOL material covered in kindergarten through third grade. Teachers, students, and parents, must work hard all year to ensure that everyone succeeds on these tests.
