Welcome to Middle School Drama!
This quarter we will be offereing two Middle School theatre electives:
MS 1: Acting Basics:
Students will learn the fundamentals of acting and improvisation, including short and long form improv, scene creation and performance, theater games, storytelling and character study. Scene work will be showcased at the end of the quarter in a performance for parents and peers.
MS 2: Musical Theatre Basics:
Students will learn the fundamentals of acting, singing and movement as it relates to musical theatre productions. Students will also explore beginning improvisation, scene creation and performance, theater games, storytelling and character study. Scene work and musical numbers will be showcased at the end of the quarter in a performance for parents and peers.
