Upcoming week's information: 11/09/09

St. Barnabas November Service Project:  Canned food drive

***Please remember to sign and return any tests from the week.  Also, please sign and return the conduct report.  Thank you!

Math: We are going to be working on time; especially elapsed time.

Spelling:  Our spelling words concentrate on words with sh, ch, tch

Writing: We will be learning how to write a "How To".

Reading: We will be reading a narrative nonfiction piece called, "Balto, the Dog Who Saved Nome".  Our focus skill will be on word relationships.  We will also be working with common and proper nouns.

Social Studies: We are going to be finishing our projects over symbols, pledges, and flags on Wednesday.  We will begin a chapter on maps and hemispheres.

Science:

Religion: We are going to be making posters of our Saints to hang in the school.  We will begin Chapter 9 over Paul the Apostle.
