 Welcome to PreK-2 with Mrs. Weaver!

We are having so much fun so far in Pre-K2 and we have learned so much already. Miss Meighan and I are so proud of our wonderful class.
Our class has already attended Mass twice, and I couldn't ask for better behaved children. We have all been trying to sing along, pray, do the "Sign of the Cross", and participate with hand motions - quite a lot for preschoolers. In class we've been talking about how God has made us so special, all different, yet in need of his love. We have charted our class's haircolor as well as drawn our own self-portrait as we have learned about "us". We are learning how to share and take turns, and how to be "patient"!!! Our class is enjoying learning about numbers - we are counting and learning that each number corresponds to a countable number of items, as well as how to write numbers. We are also learning different ways to sort objects. We love the alphabet!!! We are learning to recognize our names, identifying of each letter in our name, and learning how to write our names. As you can see it has been a busy first couple of weeks, all of this plus of course, PLAY!!! But we're having fun and that's the best part!!
