If you are entering your senior year with the idea that you are entitled to a fun year, you will not be disappointed. However, if you have bought into the untruth that the senior year should be easy because you have worked hard for 12 years and you deserve it, you are in for a rocky ride, my friend! You are in the final stages of preparation for college or life, and it NEVER gets easier in the final stages. Actually, it shouldn't get easier because the habits you practice in your last year of high school are the habits you will practice in the next phase of your life. To that end, make good decisions always. Make decisions to DO your homework, READ the book, LISTEN and TAKE NOTES in class, GO THE EXTRA MILE in everything you do. I will be here to support you, encourage you, give you a second chance if you need it, and prepare you for college. I take this seriously, and I hope you do, too.
