Creating A Safe Environment Creating A Safe Environment

If you are in school for a meeting, mass, party, or an event that will end close to the end of the day and you wish to pick up your child(ren) at the that time, please send a note in the morning with the child(ren) that you will be picking them up at the end the particular event.

If a student comes in late to school, after 9:00 a.m., you need to sign them in at the office and write an excuse explaining "why" for our attendance records.

CREATING AND MAINTAINING A SAFE ENVIRONMENT

All adults must:  Sign in at the office window and wear your Safe Environment badge when you are on campus for any volunteer duty.

**If you have lost your badge, there is a $2.00 replacement fee.  It will take a week to process a new badge. Please leave your badge in the office to avoid losing it.

The school will be locked after 3:00 NO ONE will be allowed in. All children know they need to have all materials with them when they leave the classroom.

SAFETY ALERT FOR PARENTS AND STUDENTS:

The school buildings are locked at dismissal 3:00 pm. NO ONE will be allowed to re-enter any building after they are dismissed with out signing in at the office and having them call the classroom. Students have time to get all materials needed for the evening before they leave.

The cleaning people and teachers have been instructed NOT TO ALLOW ANYONE IN THE BUILDING.  Please do not put them in an uncomfortable position.

If your child has forgotten something that she/he needs, you may bring her/him to school the next day at 8:30am.  Come to the office and explain that your child needs to go to class to get something.  Once they get what they need, they are to come back to the front hall of the Elementary Building.

Thank you for keeping the school property safe.
