(2011/2012) WELCOME to the Intermediate School Music Website
CHOIR CONCERT!!!!
Just a reminder about the Choir concert next TUESDAY evening, May 15th at 6:30 p.m.
The concert will be in the Intermediate Gymnasium. Students need to be here by 6:00 p.m.
They are to wear their choir t-shirts and dark pants or skirts and/or dark jeans. No shorts please!!!
The students have been working very hard on their music and they are excited to be able to share it with you.

*** INTERMEDIATE IDOL*** May 17th at 1 p.m. in the North Gym.
The Intermediate School is so excited about our new building. The construction project is over and the result is amazing. I would say we have a "state of the art" facility here and we are anxious to show it off. I am also excited about the music program. The incoming group of 5th graders is very talented and have already impressed me with their singing ability. Since I worked with the 6th grade last year, I know a little about their musical ability and believe me when I say their pool of talent is very deep. I will miss them when they leave for the Jr. High.
We have two choirs this year. The 5th grade choir is about 100 strong and we meet on separate days so that the number of students meeting at one time is smaller. One group meets on Tuesday and the other meets on Wednesday. The 6th grade choir meets on Thursday and I have kept the group small on purpose. This is a group of strong singers and they want to work very hard on improving their talent.
I would like to let you know that if you have questions or comments please feel free to get in touch with me. I am available through the school website and by phone as well. My extension once you dial into the system is 3123 and if I don't answer leave a message. I am pretty good at returning calls and e-mails so look for a response in a timely manner.
