You may notice a new grading system for this class when you check homework assignments online. Assignments are still worth 5 points each (subject to change for special assignments), however, they are graded based on the number of problems contained in the assignment. If an assignment is 22 problems long, and you did 19 of the problems, your score for the assignment is...
19/22 = 4.3/5 = 86%
and you will see 4.3 out of 5 points.
