Math Applications is a course designed to assist nonproficient seniors to pass the Nevada High School Mathematics Proficiency Exam (NHSMPE).  There is no textbook for this class, so students will receive worksheets and handouts.  Students will need a 2 inch 3-ring binder to hold materials. 

Parents:  Check with your students consistently.  They should be doing work on their materials in their binder daily.  Your sons and daughters also have access to a computer proficiency review.  They can go to www.supermathtutor.com, choose Nevada, enter their student number, last name, and select CLARK.  There is no charge.

The first opportunity for non-proficient seniors to take the NHSMPE is Tuesday, Nov. 17.
