Throughout the school year, I will post an idea that I'd like some feedback about. Your assignment will be to respond to my original blog. You must respond at least once, but you may certainly continue the conversation. Each comment must meet with my approval first, so you will NOT automatically see your responses. As always, be RESPECTFUL to me, your fellow students, and yourself.

Mr. T's Thoughts
As an introduction to me on a more personal level, you will choose any 2-3 songs that you feel a connection with in your life. You will explain (in a paragraph) the reason(s) behind why that song is so significant to you. Please do not share anything you feel to be too personal or of a sensitive nature.

1. Mr. T: DMB "#41"

The song “#41” by the Dave Matthews Band has been a favorite of mine since college.  Quite honestly, the lyrics and title of the song do not have any significant meaning to a past dramatic situation or an ex-girlfriend, like some songs might tend to symbolize.  Nonetheless, the song has evolved into something more than lyrics and instruments—it has become a feeling, a memory, a representation of friends and our time spent together.  Whenever I hear the distinct drum and guitar introduction to the song, I am instantly transported to a time when music and friends dominated my world.  I’m reminded that no matter how busy and hectic life becomes, music and friends should never be forgotten.  It’s not wrong to truly be a kid at heart.
