SPANISH 2 QTR.1

Class projects » Spanish 2 Qtr.1

This project is designed for a small group of students (2) to conduct an Internet-based research on a popular travel destination in a Spanish-speaking country. You and your partner are to present this information to the class in the form of PowerPoint. There is no slide minimum, but you should refer to the grading rubric to see how you will be evaluated before you begin. Please do not use distracting transitions or pistures. You may embed video, but links to videos will not work as they are blocked from my computer.

During your project:

1.       Use a USB drive and save often. I will not excuse you or give you more time if there is a technical problem.

2.       Come to school. Your partner needs you.

After you complete the project you must:

1.       Save the file in either PowerPoint 2003 or 2007. Mac users and those who use Microsoft Works should be cautious when saving and converting the files. I recommend testing out the project on a school computer before the presentation.

2.       Upload the file to my website http://myteacherpages.com/webpages/jstensrud1/, Class projects, Spanish 2 Qtr. 1. ***You will not see your file on the site after you upload—you will only see “Your file has successfully uploaded”.

3.       Bring your project on a USB drive just in case there were problems.

In your presentation, you and your partner are required to respond to each of the questions in complete sentences. Use of a translator (or Spanish-speaking friend) will automatically result in a 0.
