These are the 3rd quarter independent

reading requirements for students in

Advanced English class.

20% of each student's end of quarter

grade will be earned by completing

the book projects listed below.

Students should complete one project 

for each book they read this quarter.

All materials, completed projects, and

directions are on file in our classroom.

Feel free to examine your child's file

before or after school.

Book Project #1  -  "Wanted" Poster                  


Book Project #2  -   TV Commercial

                 

Book Project #3  -   Nonfiction Poster


Book Project #4  -   Mystery Poster


Book Project #5  -   Make Your Own

    
All projects are due April 30. 
(None will be accepted late.)


All books read need to be at the student's

reading level.

No two books this quarter should have the

same author.

Be sure to read all directions before

selecting your book!


To receive full credit, be sure to follow all

directions.

At least 1/2 of the books must be on the

recommended book list.  (To view the list, go

to the Recommended Book List page and follow

the directions.)


Allowances will be made for longer books.

(Be sure to talk with Mr. Skinner about your "double" books.)
