About Me

   This is my 12th year to teach.  In my many years before I had the opportunity to go back to college, I had numerous occupations.  I have been a stay at home mom, a school secretary, a librarian assistant, a  percusionist in my church, and a ballroom dance instructor.  I love music, especially big band and jazz.  I was the vocalist for the Al Good Orchestra for 20 years, and am currently with the Floyd Haynes Orchestra.  

  The most important part of my life is my family. My husband Tony and I have 3 wonderful (adult) children. We love to play all sorts of games and watch classic movies.  We especially love to decorate for the holidays.  My hobbies are reading and music. 

  I have my Bachelor and Masters degrees from Southern Nazarene University, and have my Principal's Certification as well.  I am also an adjunct professor at OSU-OKC, one evening a week, where I teach Basic English Composition.
