Measures of Center/Landmarks

 

Data Set - A group of numbers 

Land Marks-   Noteable features of a data set

Line Plot - A line used to reprensent how many times a number acurrs in a data cell

Maxium- Biggest number

Minnum- Smallest number  

Range- Maxium to the Minnum

Mode- A number that ocurrs more then once

Median- The center number in a data set after they are all put in numerical order

Mean- Average of the data set may not be the actual number in the set

To find the median-  Put the numbers in order least to greatest move in ward on each side if there are two numbers in the middle add then divide by two
