Sum of the digits is divisible by 3

Ex. 12,123 (1+2+1+2+3=9) 9

9 is divisible by 3 so 12,123 is too!

If the last two digits of a # are divisible by 4, so is the entire #.

Ex. 358,912 ends in 12 so it is divisible by 4.

Last digit is 0 or 5

# is divisible by both 2 and 3

Last three digits are divisible by 8

Ex. 6,008

Sum of the digits is divisible by 9

Ex. 43,785 (4+3+7+8+5=27) 27 is divisible by 9, so 43,785 is too!
