Homework Policy

      Students will be bringing home their three-ring binder with their planner and daily assignments inside every day.  The binder and planner allows students to become better organized.  Please help your child become a better student by signing their planner every day.  I will be checking their books on a daily basis for a signature.  One ticket is taken for an unsigned planner.

          Assignments are due first thing in the morning the following day, unless a specific due date is given in the planner.  Any work not turned in at that time will be considered late.  Missing assignments will be listed in the bottom of the planner.

       Assignments finished in class will be checked and initialed in the planner.  Should they not finish their assignments in class then the incomplete work is circled in their planner.

     If students neglect to turn in an assignment(s) they will be giving up their recess time, that day, in order to complete the unfinished assignment(s).  Two tickets will also be taken for each incomplete assignment.  If an assignment is not finished here, it will need to be completed at home and returned the next day.

     These rules are strictly followed in order to help your child become a more responsible student, and to help prepare them for Jr. High.
