School Supply List

5th GRADE SUPPLY LIST 

As a 5th grader, you will need the following supplies on the first day of school. Be sure to write your name on each item so that it can be identified as yours.

• 4 pocket folders ( red, blue, green, and yellow)

• 4 spiral bound notebooks - single subject only - label each notebook with the subject (Red-Math; Blue-ELA; Green-Social Studies; Yellow-Science)

• ***Please make the math notebook a multi-subject as math notes/work take up many pages

• 1 pocket folder for homework

• 2 packages of lined, loose leaf paper (Wide ruled, please)
• 1  3 ring binder, no bigger than 2" rings
• 2 composition notebooks
• 1 ruler with both inches and centimeters
• 1 package "Twistee" crayons (Crayola Twistables, Staples Twistups, etc.)  
• 1 highlighter
• 1 gluestick
• 1 bottle of white glue
• 2 packages of pencils
• 1 small pencil sharpener
• 2 erasers  
• 1 fine point, black Sharpie marker
• 1 calculator
• 1 box of tissues/Kleenex
• 1 large container of baby wipes or anti-bacterial wipes
• 1 pair of scissors
• blue or black ink pens

• OPTIONAL ITEMS
• Colored pencils
• Bottle of hand sanitizer
• Markers
