Welcome to Mrs. Jessica's webpage! 

This week we are reading "Suki's Kimono."  Your student should be preparing for a test Friday over the vocabulary, story comprehension, and various skills such as plural nouns, double negatives, public speaking, commas, pronouns, and parts of a book.  

In Math, we will continue the Algebra unit.   This week will be the last week that we learn about equations with variables.  We have learned to solve addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division equations. This week we will focus on creating equations from story problems and then solving them.  We are also working on multiplication facts, and are up to our 9's!  That means we are alomst finished, and we will begin our "Ice Cream Tests" soon!  More information will be sent home about these when the time comes.
